Our Story

It all started in April 2017, when Shed Load of Vinyl was just an idea we had to sell a few records to people who shared a combined passion for music.

We sprung into life as an independent record shop, tucked away in an old victorian washouse on a cobbled Yorkshire side street.

It is our aim to create the perfect record buying experience: curated cleaned vinyl, a cozy environment and above all, a friendly personal service.

From that simple beginning spawned the idea of not just selling other people’s music, but to become a platform for emerging artists to share their creations.
